Following our wedding we spent a few years travelling and enjoying being newlyweds. We moved to Vancouver in Dec. 05. It was around this time we began to discuss the possibility of having a family. The concept in itself was a little scary.... however, something we both knew in our hearts that we wanted. We moved back to Saskatchewan in Sept. o6. It was shortly after this time, we began considering adoption. We thought with so many children in the world in care and without families that perhaps this is where we could make the most difference. We did some research to review the possibilities and options. Feb. 07 we contacted an adoption agency to assist us in applying for foreign adoption. The next few months were spent working with a social worker to complete the application and submit a dossier for adoption.

April 07 -our application was accepted for registration at the adoption agency

July 07- dossier completed and we were granted approval from the Canadian gov't to adopt a set of twins, siblings or single child

Oct. 07- our dossier arrived in the country we choose to adopt from and we are pleased to say we were approved.

Now, we are patiently waiting..........
